Creative tweens and teens enjoy unplugged, hands-on entertainment as they explore every step in the fashion design process: determining a mood, sketching silhouettes, choosing fabrics, and turning their dreams into reality.
Everything's included in this kit: fabrics, embellishments, trims, sketchbook and colored pencils, easy-to-follow dress patterns, essential design tools, and 3 mannequins for assembling dresses. The best part? No sewing is required - velcro patches and adhesives help with closures. (Sewing supplies and instructions are still included for advanced crafters!) A full-color manual makes it fun and easy to learn every step of design, notable fashion history, and even tips like how to layer fabrics and upcycle their own clothing.
